Automatic intake
Responses are collected from your survey provider’s result emails and de-duplicated. Historic results can be imported from a spreadsheet.
BUDDIREVIEW · FRIENDS AND FAMILY TEST
buddireview collects your Friends and Family Test responses automatically, themes every comment against the CQC key questions, and turns them into appraisal-ready staff reports, a monthly recognition board and evidence you can hand to an inspector.

SEE IT WORKING
Choose a view to see what buddireview produces. Each one is a few clicks in the product, where it would otherwise be an afternoon of reading emails and spreadsheets.
STAFF FEEDBACK REPORT · FOR APPRAISAL
Review the wording before using quotations in an appraisal. A summary of patient feedback, not a performance score.
RECOGNITION BOARD · SEPTEMBER 2026
Counts are not adjusted for hours worked or patients seen, so use the board to recognise good work rather than to compare people.
CQC REPORT · JULY TO SEPTEMBER 2026
Each action is linked to the feedback that prompted it and keeps a dated history.
DASHBOARD · SEPTEMBER 2026
Last response received 12 minutes ago. If responses stop arriving, the dashboard says so.
FROM GP PRACTICES USING IT
buddireview is in daily use at two London GP practices. Their ideas go straight into what we build next.
“I am obsessed – it’s a really good product!! Congratulations!”
“Loving the dashboard… I want to give [a colleague] access – she is going to be obsessed with this.”
“Can we have a section for Patient Services? Patients don’t always put names in.”
WHAT’S INCLUDED
buddireview works with the Friends and Family Test results your text-message provider already sends you. Nothing new for patients to learn.
Responses are collected from your survey provider’s result emails and de-duplicated. Historic results can be imported from a spreadsheet.
Every comment is classified as Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsive or Well-led, with sentiment, so you can see patterns rather than read 150 emails.
Comments that may describe a safety issue are surfaced for clinical review. The AI flags; a person decides.
Monthly mentions and the best patient comments for any colleague and period, printed or saved for appraisal and revalidation.
Who patients thanked this month, by name and by team, such as reception, ready to celebrate at the team meeting.
A dated “you said, we did” log linked to the feedback behind it, with outcome reviews and redacted reports for inspection.
Twelve-month trends, monthly figures with satisfaction percentages, and full or monthly CSV downloads.
Each practice’s data is kept separate. Running several practices in a PCN or federation? Talk to us about a combined view.
Your public Google reviews alongside FFT, so the whole picture of patient experience is in one place.
TIME AND MONEY SAVED
An estimate for a practice receiving 150 FFT responses a month, with 20 staff appraisals a year, valuing practice manager and admin time at £28 an hour: roughly £1,600 a year. Change the figures to fit your practice or PCN.
That is about 4.8 hours a month per practice that goes back into the practice rather than into reading, counting and copying feedback.
Modelled estimate, not a measured result. It counts only the tasks in the table below and does not value better CQC evidence, staff morale or earlier sight of safety concerns.
| Task | By hand | With buddireview | Saved |
|---|---|---|---|
| Reading and theming comments (about 30 seconds each) | 75 min | 15 min | 60 min |
| Monthly counts, satisfaction percentages and trends | 60 min | 15 min | 45 min |
| Finding patient feedback for appraisals (45 minutes each by hand, 5 with a report) | 75 min | 8 min | 67 min |
| CQC evidence and “you said, we did” write-ups | 120 min | 30 min | 90 min |
| Team recognition summary | 30 min | 5 min | 25 min |
| Total a month | 360 min | 73 min | 287 min (4.8 hrs) |
QUESTIONS PRACTICES ASK
If your question isn’t here, email us. Please don’t send patient information.
buddireview reads the FFT result emails your text-message provider already sends. It is running today with iPLATO. Talk to us about your provider and we will check the format during set-up.
The FFT does not ask for patient identifiers and buddireview does not collect them on purpose. Free-text comments can still contain personal details, so every comment is treated as potentially identifiable, access is limited to named staff, and quotations are checked and redacted before they are shared. We provide a DPIA template and a data processing agreement.
No. It sorts comments into themes and flags possible safety concerns so a person can review them. Everything it produces is there for your team to check.
It shows how often patients named someone in positive feedback. It is not adjusted for hours worked or patients seen, so it is a way to recognise good work, not a performance measure. Staff reports carry the same caution.
Only the people you choose. Each colleague signs in with their own NHS email address and a one-time code, so there are no shared passwords. Tell us who to add, or remove, and it is done.
Our second practice was onboarded in under an hour of set-up work: connecting the result emails, importing past results and adding the staff names patients use.
SEE IT WITH YOUR OWN FEEDBACK
We will walk you through the dashboard, a staff report and a CQC report, and work through the savings estimate with your own figures.
